On the staircase in Moesgaard Museum’s foyer, you will come face to face with your pre-historic family.
Seven reconstructed species of mankind are placed on the steps – from 3.2 million-year-old Lucy, who was discovered in Ethiopia, to the Koelbjerg Man from the Stone Age. He is the oldest skeletal remains found in Denmark.
On this guided tour, we will talk about human evolution - both biologically and culturally.
Turkana – Homo Ergaster. He lived 1.5 million years ago near Lake Turkana in Kenya. He lived to be 9-12 years-old and was 1.47 m tall.
