Museum Café

Large panorama windows allow for an amazing view of the spectacular nature surrounding Moesgaard Museum. If the Danish weather permits it, you can also step out onto the grass roof or enjoy a meal or a beverage on the large roof patio.

Our café offers a selection of hot and cold dishes and snacks. Based on seasonal ingredients and the area's resources, we focus on quality and craftsmanship. We cook everything from scratch with respect for nature. We use Danish and preferably local products and emphasize ecology and sustainability.

Reduce food waste

At Moesgaards Cafe, we focus on reducing food waste and ensuring that as many leftovers as possible can be recycled such as for example by turning the fried chicken into chicken sandwiches etc.

We are Refood certified based on food waste reduction measures and recycling. All our remaining food waste goes to Daka Refood to be recycled for animal feed, fertilizers, biogas and biodiesel for the benefit of the environment.
