At Moesgaard, we look at how man has always tried to influence the sun, the cosmos and the climate. We have a solar symbol workshop for children and recreate thousand-year-old sun rituals on the roof of the museum.
Solar symbol workshop
Every day until August 13 + August 24 at 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
Prior to the sun ritual, make your own solar symbol from models of real Bronze Age findings.
Price: DKK 35 per. child. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult who is free of charge.

Every day until August 19 + August 24 at 2:00 PM-2.15 PM on the terrace outside the museum café.
Join us when we reenact the sun rituals of the people of the Bronze Age and recreate the sun's journey from day to night.
The event is free. Handouts are available in English and German.

All day: Petroglyphs on Moesgaard's roof
Where: Outside on Your Own. Until September 1.
Moesgaard's roof and the landscape around the museum are painted with huge petroglyphs. Modelled after genuine petroglyphs, a robot has painted huge motifs with white material in the landscape. Experience the effect from a distance and up close.
